mfpdm
Cleaning up the flywheel today in prep to mate the tranny back up and I was wondering, can they be painted without ill effects? Not talking a major look great paint job, just some primer and a flat black to help preserve it over time. Looks like it had something at one time maybe. :dunno:
Geonovast
Flexplates would probably be ok, but as in an actual flywheel for a manual... I wouldn't. Could screw up the clutch.
88mjmanche
i wouldent paint the fly wheel because it needs good clean contact with the clutch diskand preasure plate. you arent suppost to resurface the flywheel. if its not broke don't fix it, if its gona break just get the parts in advance
