case5412
I'm heading down to Dallas today and need to know the prices on a front Dana 60 from a 1978/79 Ford F350. It's the axle I need for my build! :D :D :D :D here's a link for one on Craigslist. Is it the right price, or to much? I'm looking for a fair price or a good deal. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/pts/1458923164.html Thanks all,
Pete M
seems a bit on the high side. From what I've seen, the low end is maybe 5-600, the norm is around a grand. 1300 for something that will still need new seals, gears, bearings etc seem too much. I'd offer less. pingpong
Thats way high for that axle. I can see if it was built, or refurbished. For a stock axle in the condition it appears to be in.. I wouold say 700 tops.
GreenF350
Around here 800 - 1000 seems average
pingpong
Around here 800 - 1000 seems average Thats a normal price for a good useable axle. That axle is sitting in the dirt, and appears to have mold/moss growing on it. To me that means it has been sitting outside for a while.
LoTGoD
I paid $600 for mine, and it is missing the entire driver side outer knuckle.
