Lenard Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 i went out and checked my oil yesterday (truck had been sitting for 2hrs+) and at the bottom 1/4" of the dip stick it was milky. i just had the bottom half of the engine done and so there is no way that i know of, of any of that making water get in the engine, so I'm thinking it was leaking before but since it was draining so much oil i never notice, or maybe it just decided to crack :dunno: what is the easy way to check without pulling the head?
Geonovast Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Compression test. I'll bring my tester with me when I come back down in case you don't get ahold of one before then.

cracker Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 hmmm....ok. that's a bummer. Not too bad. Put a used head that was worked over with a valve job. Took only a couple of hours. Runs fine now.
