pitbull4x4 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 A friend of mine said his flexplate was cracked. It is in a 2 WD 95 Cherokee with 4L and auto with O/D. Places are getting him a flywheel but he said that is not right. He said a flexplate is thinner and weighs less.
HOrnbrod Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Your friend needs a flexplate that crosses with Mopar p/n 52117761.
Eagle Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Crown makes 'em If he can't find one locally, have him call Todd or Tony at Bradshaw Jeep in Connecticut. They can fix him up. 860-274-8834, Option 3 for parts. Mention "Harwood" and they'll be sure to double the price for ya.
HOrnbrod Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 "Harwood" - sounds like a good ol' Bama boy. Bubba's brother. :rotfl2:
HOrnbrod Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Prolly still Bubbas brother though..........
Eagle Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Prolly still Bubbas brother though.......... L'il bro's first name does begin with a 'B'. I'll let you call him "Bubba," though. Did I mention that he was the starting center on an undefeated high school football team -- in his sophomore year?
HOrnbrod Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Oh. In that case it's Mr. Bubba, Sir. :D I shouldn't talk though. My parents named be after my maternal grandfather, Claus Edvin Ericsson. They almost picked Claus. :ack:
