changing shifter from column to floor

i tried a search and found nothing. has anyone changed the shifter from a column mount to a floor mount? for an automatic of course. also if i do decide to keep the column mount, is there a way to fit a PRND321 indicator that is on column itself instead of in the cluster? i figured having it on the column itself will make it easier when i do a gauge swap.

There's an aftermarket PRNDL that mounts directly on the column. Somebody here installed one and posted photos and a link to the company. Don't think it was Hornbrod. Maybe 87jeffmj?

You can grab a floor shift kit out of an XJ, and swap it into your truck. Then you can get a regular column and throw that in too. It should all directly swap over.
