comancheboy
I got a 88 comanche that needs a better lift. I heard that you can use the front coils out of a zj grand cherokee for a 3inch lift. will it work if i take the upper and lower control arms and trac bar (since mines blown out) and coils and get a 3inch lift for the front? or will it throw the front end out of alignment if i use those parts out of the grand cherokee
Pete M
V8 grand cherokee coils will give 3" of lift to an TJ, only 1 inch in an MJ.
Geonovast
Grabbing the control arms off the ZJ wouldn't help you, they're the same as XJ/MJ ones. The difference is where the spring meets the body. Also, ANY height change will affect your toe alignment.
