Roll bar on my Comanche: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/rbostonca ... pg&.src=ph

YEA....and Whose/What roll bar is that origionally out of????

CW, it's so difficult finding an original MJ rollbar as you well know - let alone in good condition and reasonable price. With this said, I decided to look for after market or custom roll bars.

I saw a 1994 Nissan 4x4 pick-up truck w/a roll bar @ my local pick/pull. Took measurements and came back. Looked like it was going to work and it did. Had to fab rein plates for the front legs unto the floor board, and rear legs of the roll bar over the wheel wells.

I have not had the chance to add lights. I already pre-wired during the roll bar install.

Only thing - I don't know who made it....was it Smittybilt, Grizzly or someone else.

That kinda looks the same as mine and mines oout of a ford ranger around 90 or something like that IIRC. Fits good for me and it was a stocker for the package the ranger had on it.

Thanks man...

I stopped a guy with a late 80's Dakota a while back. He had a roll bar in it and he was kind enough to let me measure it up and it too looks like it would fit.

I have herd the FORD Rangers will fit also. Nice to have the confermation!!

Now the mid '90's Nissans also fit!! GOOD TO KNOW!!!!

Thanks guys!!

Looks exactly like the one that was on my '84 Toy long bed when I bought it. I haven't a clue who made it.

(I hate driving a Toyota, especially this one)

I Pm'd him on NAXJA, he's gonna look when he gets home tonight.

There's a sticker on it, but he doesn't know if that's who made it or who sold it or what.
