1999MJ
I just seem to keep comming across thse damn things and have to have it. So this makes 4 now. It's a 91 H.O 2wd, AX15, 107k. Only rust is on the bed around the wheel wells. Cab corners and rockers and nose are rust free. Interrior is gray and clean. Has 15x10's on the rear with 275/60-15's and 15x8's up front with 235/70-15's. Someone also addded some traction bars and it seems to either have 4.10's or 3.73's. Needs some brakes and a master cylinder and I'm going to throw it on the road and run it for a bit.. I'm looking for a bed on the east coast. NJ,NJ CT or PA area. Maybe even Mass. Here's a quick picture of it

HOrnbrod
In an effort to increase sagging sales, Mopar offered LWB Eliminators in 91-92.

1999MJ
did a rear disc brake conversion, front and rear and Ring and pinion install on an XJ for someone and got the truck as payment. I'm really leaning twards selling it. Money's tight these days
Automan2164
If only you were closer. I would be interested. Have to ditch those rims though... Rob L.

LWB HO Eliminators are very rare animals. :D

HOrnbrod
I just love those style Eliminator decals. Rob L. Me too. I'd dump the dealer installed "swoosh" on my 91 to install the 91-92 Elim decals, but that would be cheating and illusionary I think. Kind of like putting a cowl hood on a 4-banger, or similar.

Both of you just killed me there; cowl hood on a 4cyl, I'm going to be doing; money into a 2wd Jeep, yep, I'll be putting a lot of money into one, coincidentally, both on the same truck. I guess I must be :chillin: ?
HOrnbrod
Or putting money into a JEEP thats only 2WD. Just kidding Don. ;) I love your truck. :D Rob L. I know Rob. Different strokers for different folks. :D MJs are versatile animals and can be built to suit many purposes. That's why I love them. Maybe some day I'll convert, but right now it just seems like it would be hauling around extra weight that may hurt in my never ending quest blowing ricers away. One thing I sure am looking at next is swapping the D35 for a D44. Already snapped one axle, and it makes me hesitant to really hammer it at times........ And beaterjeep, just do what makes you happy. That's all that really matters.
Automan2164
Yeah. To be honest, as we've talked about in PM's, I think your truck is one of the nicest here. If it was in my ownership, I think the only change would be the 4x4 convert. But up here, its more of a necessity. Not saying that thing would ever see snow. Well, who am I kidding. If I had your truck I don't even think I would let it see rain. On second thought, I really wouldn't ever want a truck that clean to be in a spot where 4x4 was necessary, so... Its fine just the way it is. Rob L.
HOrnbrod
Thanks Rob. It's actually quite easy to keep the old girl right down here when you don't have to deal with the issues y'all have to face unless you park your rig all winter. Being originally from Vermont, I know how it is. It SUCKS!! It's amazing to see the body and frame work you guys do just to keep your rigs intact. I salute you all.
