SkipshotMJ
So i'm trying to take off the transfercase and ive run into a problem. The 2 nuts on the top that connect the T-Case and the tranny together a becoming two big p.i.t.a's :fs1: . Do you guys have any tips on removing them? Thanks! robfg67
Some guys remove the cross member so the TC hangs lower, but I was able to remove those bolts without touching the CM. I used a socket with multiple extensions for those top two bolts and an open-end wrench on the other bolts-with a whole lot of patience. This write-up will help: http://www.weatherlover1.com/jeep/242.htm

mjtjnj
If it's a manual or floor shift automatic, you can go through the floor and get those two top bolts. That's the easiest way.
