My dad wants to buy a new car.

He just phoned me and said he drove an A4 today (guess he got their early enough). It sounds like he'll be buying one if he can find exactly what he wants (that one was a toupe colour, whatever that is, it's not one of the 16 colours I know, but apparently it didn't look great).

That's the thing about an Audi, drive one and you'll buy one. I've driven Subaru's and while I found them to be a fine car it just wasn't in the same league with the Audi.

My brother has had 4 BMW's and after driving my A4 he said he will never buy another BMW. They are that good. If you've never driven an A4 with Quattro you just wouldn't understand.

Here's one of my favorite videos, a test up a ski slope.

Watch what the Audi does (last part of the video)

Yup, so he showed up tonight with an 07 A4 w/ the 2.0T, 6spd, Quattro, and some sort of 'winter package' (all seats are heated, and a nifty pass though for skis from the tunk into the cabin area). It was dark by the time he got here, so I couldn't say much other than the interior looks nice. And there's an overwhelming amount of features, it seems. He'll figure it out, eventually. I have some faith in the old fart.

That's great, he's going to love it!!! :clapping: If he's looking for a bit more performance this is the way to go:

I had one on my A4 and it was a hoot!

You change programs by pressing your cruise control button a set number of times. You can set it for stock if you are taking it to the dealer and open her back up once you've left. It was the best mod I've ever done. The HP #'s might not look very impressive but the Torque increase throughout the RPM range is wonderful. You will also pick up about 2 mpg to boot (if you can keep your foot out of it). It transforms the car.

P.S. I'm not sure on the 2007's, but have him check behind the rear center armrest for the neat factory emergency kit.
