thejum57
Does anyone have any pics of the location of the bottom bolts on the manifold of a 4 cyl? I've got the four you can see on the top loosened & ready to remove, but there are supposed to be two more on the bottom. I can't see them. Thanx

thejum57
So, I've got all the bolts off and it still on there pretty tight. Does the exaust have to come off too?? I hope not, never had a good time with rusty exaust parts. :fs1:
aemsee
The EGR tube connects the intake and exhaust. Need to remove that or the exhaust manifold with the intake.
Geonovast
The EGR tube connects the intake and exhaust. Need to remove that or the exhaust manifold with the intake. That wouldn't be true on a 91 or 92. What year we talking?
thejum57
:wall: I seem to always omit the year, or engine. It's an 86, 2.5, 4 cyl. I missed one bolt by the firewall, now the manifold is loose, however part of the braket that held the power steering pump seems to be in the way...oh and connected to the motor mount? This is getting ugly fast. It also looks like I have to disconnect the throttle cable and whatever else pops up as I proceed.
