Adding an avatar

i took a pic of my truck with the digital camera loaded in to the computer and tried putting it on my profile from the comp but it says its too big. how the heck do you do it? anyone have any idea?

You have to resize it before you upload it. I believe the maximum dimensions are 150 pixels x 150 pixels and 27 kb. I resize in photoshop and lower the jpeg quality until it's small enough.

If you don't have Photoshop, you can use IrfanView, which is small, free, and simple. Once you've installed IrfanView, just open your picture, resize it so the biggest side is 150px or less, and save. :thumbsup:
