I guess they sell this seal to get my money and this part doesn't come apart ?

*disclaimer- I have not done this, but there was a similar thread on here or NAXJA not too long ago...only going on what I remember.....

 

It does seperate. Clamp the large round black piece in a bench vise and slide a thin metal something or other up along one of the flat sides of the square stock going into it and pull the bottom piece, which should come off.

 

Like I said, I've not done this before. HTH,

it's suggested that hacksaw blades are good for sliding along the flat parts to disengage.....excellent pics of the whole assembly on the very last post.
