trapperbb Posted April 22, 2009 Author Share Posted April 22, 2009 i thought the rear end was going in mine turns out its not..the bearing on the passenger side axle was long gone. so i bought a new kit for it and put it on but there seems to be alot of play "in and out" none side to die or up and down how much should there be? or do i need to move the new spacer farther in on the axle? Eagle Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 If you have an '88 with the original axle, it's not a c-clip and the axle is located laterally by the position of the bearing on the shaft, and the retainer.
