glundblad Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I seem to be having trouble finding a pair of bucket seats to replace my bench. I was curious if anyone has successfully installed bucket seats from other vehicles without too much fabrication? I am ok with messing with the Comanche seat brackets but I really don't want to drill holes in the floor. I am considering purchasing a couple of Cherokee buckets and then pay to have them reupholstered. However, I don't think my wife ( :rant: ) would approve of that expense. Does anyone know approximately how much it would cost to reupholster 2 bucket seats?
shelbyluvv Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 It was going to cost me over $400 to get mine redone. I did end up putting 06 WK seats in the truck. I will probably be selling them to go to a ZJ or WJ seat. I really like the look or the ZJ seats.
88XJSport Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I think it will be well worth the wait if you wait and find either black 2 door Cherokee seats, or Comanche buckets. Like I said, I have seen every style and shape of interior at my junkyard, so I'm bound to find the black again.
