BIGHEEP
Just finished up the front of my 88 MJ today. Installed the front nose and fenders off a 99 XJ. I also installed a MORE front bumper w/Ramsey winch. Image Not Found
ORCA
Niiice... 8) I'm sure you saw the MJ on ebay with the same face lift done to it. Pretty cool idea, if your into comestics and such.. Got any other pics of different angles?
BIGHEEP
I'm sure you saw the MJ on ebay with the same face lift done I did see it. That is why I am showing mine now. I have had the parts on the truck for months now but was going to wait to unveil it until my build was done. The ebay truck prompted me to show it off now. I am really not into the whole comestic thing. I just wanted to do something different. I have wanted to do the swap since the new style XJ came on the market. I was going to swap the doors also but this is a trail beater, not a show truck. I will be posting more pics when my SOA is finished.

pingpong
The vent windows are realy nice.. especially if its raining out, or cold and you need to let some heat out. the fixed windows suck, but the one piece windows are all right. BTW trail beaters rule

Got any other pics of different angles? Snapped a side pic today. Not a great pic but you get the idea. Once I spray some color on the truck it should look pretty factory. yj2mj
The best thing I like at the updated frt clip is that it takes people awhile to realize what is done. I guess mine isn't as noticable w/ an ARB covering it up. But people will be really smoking my truck over, and when they think they have found all the diff things I have done, they'll step back and see the frt clip. Not one of those upgrades that everyone notices.
BIGHEEP
Today I started installing the TJ flares on the rear. First I cut out all the rust. The great thing about this mod is I mounted them high enough to cover the rust holes. Here are a few pics. I had to modify the gas door so it would clear the flares. Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found I still have to secure the flares better and paint them but this is about how it will look. BIGHEEP
Well, I have not added to this build for a long time. One reason is because I really have not done much to it. This is how it has sat since last year. One reason is I got a deal on a YJ I just could not pass up, $800. The plane for it is to make it a daily drivable, mild wheeler so that I can go a little more extreme with the MJ. When I am done with the YJ in the next few weeks I am turning my attention back to the Comanche.

I have a set of 34x10.5s that are going on the Mance.
BIGHEEP
Well, tomorrow will be a sad day. I just got done piecing my MJ project back together so it is drivable (well onto a trailer at least) and it's new owner is picking it up tomorrow. For the time being I will be Comanche-less. I had to many projects and needed to thin them out a bit. This was my 3rd MJ but not my last. Once I have completed my other projects I am sure I will be looking for another one. Here is to you old friend.
BIGHEEP
Hey Landlubber, I am pretty sure you ended up with this truck. Tried PMing you but it wouldn't work. Send me a PM and let me know how you got the truck and what you have done to it.
