64 Cheyenne Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 This is a pic of an 89 XJ I just got On the 87 MJ I put a screw in this The small rubber plug that comes out of the TB - carries vacuum to the MAP sensor.On the top seems that it is open Is it missing a vacuum line? does it need/or is it supposed to be plugged?
IDXJ Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 If you pull that connector off the TBI, you can see the backside of the top is a plug that holds the connector to the TBI.
Windowsrookie Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 No, that isn't actually a hole. It's just an indent to help hold that MAP sensor vacuum line.
