-At the search page, on the bottom right side you should see: "Display results as: x Posts _ Topics"

Checking the "topics" choice will greatly reduce the number of hits. If I can find a way to make it the default setting I will. In the meantime, you'll have to do it manually. :thumbsup:

If you see a thread that you think you will need in the future or that just has alot of good info in, you can just type the name of the thread starter and brief description into a word document and save it into a seperate folder on your c drive. Then you can search by author. This works especially good if the search function has the ability to search for "thread starter" with the authors name.
