james750
He found me on my way back from 8.25 axle install this afternoon. I'm surprised at how close you live to me without me knowing all this time! It's nice to finally put some faces to names and to the board usernames. Thanks again for the coil spacers, those are going in tomorrow to try and even out the ride height. You've got a sweet MJ and XJ. If you get a chance can you post up those pics? -James
WyoCherokee
Cool deal. don't mean to :hijack: but does the exploder 8.8 bolt right in?
james750
Cool deal. don't mean to :hijack: but does the exploder 8.8 bolt right in? I have a chryco 8.25, not quite as strong as an 8.8 and no disk brakes, Comanche County had an 8.8. Both of us have an SOA setup so it is not a bolt on mod. You need to cut and reweld the perches, set pinion angle, get longer brake lines, and different shocks.

Comanche County
Yeah, cool dude,,, I'll get those pics up later tonight.... Word of advice to anyone else that may see James750 on the road.....Don't try to catch him  ,,,his truck is super charged or something! Especially, don't try it with a complete 4.2 engine in the bed of your truck, especially if you went cheap when you replaced your clutch with a refurbished set, especially if you're lifted about 7 inches with a busted shock, especially if your truck has never seen 80 mph,,,my throw-out bearing is singing to me now, Just got the head put back on and now it looks like I'll be pulling the tranny out again,,,,but hey!!! Its worth it to catch up to another CC member on the road!
Comanche County
Finally, I'm getting the pics on.... Here's me trying to catch James(speedracer)750: and no, I don't normally take pics or text or talk on the phone while driving. I saw a girl last week driving in the snow storm while texting with both hands....D-U-M-B! And our two MJs..... I was experimenting with my 30x9.5s instead of my 33s. I got 21 mpg with the little 30s vs 16-17 with the 33s.
