fix engine enough to make it drive ( cam job, head job, some $600 or so in parts and machining)0
-
replace engine with stroker 4.7l using late model block, 7120 head and intake adapted to renix system, and 258ci crank and rods (about $1200? for engine work and parts, plus maybe buying a cheap truck while i get rusty going for $500 so $1700)3

buy 88 comanche 4x4 with 86,000 miles and almost no rust, part out/sell "Rusty" ($2500 asking price).5

buy said 88 comanche, keep "Rusty" and start working on making it into a cheromanche with said 4.7 engine, except hopefully a late model xj donar for cheromanche parts.15
