MJZJ Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 I have oil comeing on to my air filter of my 88' MJ. I checked to make sure it was not comeing from the intake which it is not. Then i started to see about the lines running into the filter box. It is comeing from the line comeing off the top of the valve cover,not sure of the name. What could be causing this? and where could i find a cold air intake for this truck? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mvusse Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 The CCV orifice inside the valve cover (the grommet the thin vacuum line goes to) is probably carboned up. Take off the valve cover, clean out orifice (should be 2.4mm or almost 1/8" diameter) and reinstall with a new gasket. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
