Pete M Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 The 2.8 makes barely more HP, not enough of a difference to notice, hardly any more torque (again, not enough to be able to tell without a dyno) and uses twice as much gas doing it. Actually, I do believe the '86 2.5 was rated higher in HP, but still a hair lower in TQ than the 2.8. :D I can't seem to find all the numbers though. :hmm: Where did I see them...
