CEThomas Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Would a 4.10 and 4.11 axle be close enough not be a problem?? A friend had his D35 blow out  so we our going to sale him the D-35 out from under our YJ and replace with a 8.8
Pete M Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Yes, absolutely. The difference is simply due to different axles have different size gears with different numbers of teeth where the closest you can get when doing the division is off by 0.01.
JeepcoMJ Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 yep, you're just fine. dana 30's have 4.11 gears, the MJ 44's have 4.09's at least mine does...works out great.
Car RamRod Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I'm running a 3.55 rear and 3.54 front, no problems.
CWLONGSHOT Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I agree, Its just a manufacturer thing... anything with in a couple percent either way is just fine. CW
CEThomas Posted February 1, 2009 Author Posted February 1, 2009 Thanks, What I thought  now he can have his D35 and we can get a 8.8 and have some $$$ in our pocket :D
