Randy in Maine
Your volt ohm meter will pay off big time as you figure this out. Find out where you no longer get 12 volts on the way to the headlights.
702_MJ
:agree: electrical sux, process of elimination. Did you check the connections on the harness to the headlight switch? I had mine shut off one night and you could click the highs on but they wouldnt stay. I bought a new switch and checked the connections and it looked like there was a short and the plastic around the harness connections melted. Sanded the connections and i didnt even need the new switch. But if you ever find a new headlight harness let me know, my way seemed half a$$. Ever since that short problem my dash and console lights stay on permanently, so probly need something new to fix the problem.
