stern82
I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with a Teraflex budget boost on it. I am taking this lift off and was wondering if anyone know if either set (front or rear spacers from the WJ) would fit on the front of my MJ. My MJ is a 1989 2wd with the non HO 4.0 long bed with an auto tranny. The front of my MJ could use a little bit of a lift as it is sagging just a bit. Thank you in advance! BLHTAZ
I though all four spacers were the same on those WJ kits. Either way...yes, the front should work fine.
stern82
They just might be, I think they are different thickness if memory serves from when i installed. Either way it is work a shot. Thanks again for the help!
BLHTAZ
The fronts may be a little thicker than the rears so that it will level the vehicle...I didn't think about that. That gives you an option of how much lift you use for the front of the MJ ;)
shelbyluvv
They are different. The WJ uses a bigger coil bucket in the front. The spacers will likely hit the inner fender well. The rear spacers are HUGE and will not work at all. I have a WJ and tried to use the spacers on a MJ.

You cannot use spacers for WJ's with MJ's.
BLHTAZ
I am well aware that the suspension is different, but I was thinking that the spacers were close to being the same diameter for the front. I have never dealt with lifting a WJ, but I have worked aftermarket and sold the stuff back in 2002 - 2003 so it's been a while since I have looked at them ;) .
