will the rubicon express long arm kit for the xj work on my comanche? the front section that is. the guys at RE said so but i want to ask from the pro's =D

They are mostly right. The system "kind of" bolts right on. After you cut off the lower control arm mounts (like it was said before, we have more to cut than the XJ guys) but the side support brackets need to be cut.

 

I'm sure you guys have seen the blue Jeepspeed MJ with the 2500 front end conversion. I helped the owner of that rig put the RE long arm kit on.

 

The Comanches have "cab supports" that go from the "frame" out towards the pinch welds. The long arm crossmember is 3 pieces. Two outer pieces (the side supports) and the center part that drops out if you need to do a trans or t/c swap.

 

It really isn't much more difficult, just requires a little extra time.

I've worked with the RE Radius arm kit quite a bit, it's no different than any other suspension. It needs to be loved and comforted. Meaning you'll need to ensure that all mounts are correct and that you're alignment is right. Get those things dialed, and you'll smack yourself in the head for not doing it sooner.
