DirtyComanche
Should work. Low gears won't hurt. Try it and report back.

SoloCamo
As long as you do supporting mods for the S/C such as larger injectors, cooling, etc I don't see there being a problem. 4.56's with 31's isn't something I'd exactly want to daily drive, though. However, for this purpose it would probably be great. Maybe 4.10's would be a better choice though so you aren't shifting gears as much while climbing and will keep you in the power band longer. BLHTAZ
Supercharged with 4.56's & 31's will go about 50 MPH in 4th gear at 5-6000 RPM...not a good combination :???: . IMO - 3.73's would be the gear to go with for that set-up...if, as you say, you are not going to go bigger.

I am running 4.56 actually with the stock motor with just magnaflow, K&N intake sistem and 2001 intake maniful, and I think it is not bad, it doesn´t go to 5000RPM maybe 2000-2500rpm or so. and that´s what I was thinking if I add a supercharger it could rev alot faster and that´s what I don´t want. and the good.....I have a 3.73 gear set as spare, front and back. :clapping:
BLHTAZ
OK...I was exaggerating a little bit on the RPM's, but you get the point ;) :D . I run 4.56's with 35's, 4.0L, AX15 and it is plenty of gear for that. I could actually run 37" tires with the 4.56's and have no problem as they seem to be a little too much gear for the 35's. That seems just a little off, I'm calculating more like 119mph in overdrive at 5k rpm. :???: With 4.56, auto, 31's. Of course the supercharger makes no difference in the speed per rpm. DirtyComanche
People make sure a huge deal about gears. Stop bothering. It doesn't freaking matter if it's 2200 or 2500 rpm. Which is about all the difference you'll see. But you might lose a tenth at the strip! Woohoo... Yeah... (Remember, this is my opinion, and no, I don't have any professional training in anything related to a jeep)
