Unless you go carbed, most cams are NOT ground to work for EFI and will screw around with the sensors. Put HO injectors into a Renix motor and you will get a NICE seat of the pants kick. The HO head is only about 15% of the power boost in the HO motor.

 

With the HO injectors, isn't there a noticeable increase in fuel consumption? Also, doesn't it run overly rich?

I don’t think they spray too more gas they just have a better pattern. If you go up to 24lb yull be too rich then!

The spray pattern will not be any different as they are the same injector other than a very small difference in flow rate. The Ford Motorsport injectors have the 4 hole design that gives a much better atomization (more of a mist) and therefore a much more efficient use of the fuel for more complete burning, better acceleration and improved fule economy :thumbsup:

 

Swapping in HO injectors just doeesn't have much to offer in comparison and is a waste of time & money.
