90eliminator
So I started pulling the transmission last night...but ran into a slight problem. The kick down linkage that connects to the throttle body assembly and then travels down the transmission. I removed the 10mm bolt and then tried to pop the linkage out. This is where the problem exists for me now. I can get the plastic up enough to see the steel cable running into the transmission, but it won't pop out or disconnect anyhow that I see. Any ideas... thanks Shawn

Wildman
I assume that your talking about the TV cable (or the "kick down")??? That's mounted internally in the AW4, if you can, pull the tranny with the TV cable attached, just disconnect the cable from the throttle mount on top of the intake. Here this will give you an idea what's involved if you really want to disconnect it from the tranny. Also tells you how to "adjust" the cable after you do your swap :brows:
1tuffmj
the kick down comes off different then the throttle.the kick down slides off where the throttle can be just puled off.be careful and take ur time
