DirtyComanche Posted June 21, 2006 Share Posted June 21, 2006 Np231 in the tcase. You've got a 4.0 and an 88 5spd, it's a BA10/5 peugeot. They like to explode. What ya want to swap in is an AX-15. 87manche Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 for the most part. You can reuse the BA 10 clutch hose. You'll need an AX-15 complete with bellhousing and all of the parts inside. IIRC there's a differnce in the pilot bearing, and you'll have to move the trans x-member back. I believe that the Drive shafts are going to be different lengths. DirtyComanche Posted June 23, 2006 Share Posted June 23, 2006 Drive shafts are within 1/2". Normally it will be fine. Or better as the Ax-15 is the longer one of them, I think. Tranny mount differs.
