MJ.rusty Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 my blower motor i think is pulling to many amps. everytime i put a fuse in the fuse panel and turn the a.c. on it runs good for a min. or so and then melts the crap out of the fuse. to many amps? or something else? ooh and also my blower will run on high but not low? any solutions? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pete M Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 The "high, but no low" issue could very likely be a blown resistor pack. It's located under the dash by the passenger's feet. Held into the duct work down there by a single 7 or 8mm screw. Looks like a little cover. If you've blown both the resistor pack and the fuse, I'd guess that the motor is too aged and the bearings are toast. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
