XJ problem

I had my fuel pump go out on me a couple weekends ago while I was on the road working...luckly enough my aunt lived near by..I got a new pump and replaced it..didnt replace the filter till today couse I have had problems starting it...

 

well.I go to my plenum and press in my pressure releaf valve and no gas comes out..WTF :headpop:

 

PLEASE HELP!!!

 

air in the lines maybe? clogged line maybe? what the hell do I do?

did you hook the pump up right? pull the filter and turn the key on to see if gas is coming out? Check fuel pump relay also.

I drove it for 2 more weeks with no problem...it just started acting up lastweek..

 

where is the relay..

 

I can hear the pump turning on...

thanks guys..went n got a new pump...I think the negative wire had vibrated off the terminal...

 

anywho..got a new one for free...

Whenever I deal with spade connectors, I squeeze them a little flat with a pair of pliers to make sure they go on tight.
