armybmbsqd
I'm not sure if it works or not but my spare parts Cherokee has cruise control. Has anyone swapped cruise control into their Comanche? Does anyone know if the vacuum actuator from a newer HO engine will work with the controller from the RENIX cruise control. I have the HO head and intake and would need a newer actuator to be able to hook up to the throttle. Thanks
DenLevi
I did this last month with my 88 comanche. It was relatively easy. I found a cherokee at my local pick and pull JY, just removed all the parts for the cruise including the control turn signal and pedal interrupt switch at the brake. It should work for yours, make sure you get the vac canister from the cruise donor as well since this is where it will draw vacuum, you shouldnt need to change your actuator at all. I think it took me all of two hours to install and is factory.
Geonovast
I added an after market, universal cruise control system and it works pretty good.
atlnq9
I thought I would just add my question on here instead of a new thread. I don't know much about how cruise control works, what parts do I need to add cruise on to my 91 comanche 4.0 manual or would it just be easier to purchase an after market kit?
