woody62
I have the mirrors (big ones) on my 86 and the door hinges are junk. I guess because of the weight. I was looking at a spare door I have from a 89 and it looks like it will fit fine. How do I fix the hinges? Can I replace pins?? Will I need a different door striker? Thoughts? Ideas? Thanks, woody62

woody62
The weld seems ok. It looks like the pin is worn out. How do you replace pin or door?? woody

maddzz1
There is also a TSB that chrysler put out and you can buy a kit to fix it at the dealership. I think the kit and TSB were put out for newer XJ's but it works on Mj's.
