Rear Bumper and Grill ?'s

Hello All... I am new to the forum although I have been reading it for several months.

 

First of all I would like to get a new rear bumper for my 86 long box. What is the easiest/cheapest way to go about this. I have heard that sportside GM truck bumpers will fit, is this true? Any thoughts?

 

I also need a new grill, I would love to put a 97+ grill as I like the 7 slots much better then my 9. Is is possible to do this without replacing the the header panel, headlight bezels, fenders, etc?

I can't attest to the bumper, but if you do a 97+ grill you have to do the header panel and the fenders.

i have a fye bumber made for a dakota on mine. it is all steel step bumper. you can get them in black powder coat or chrome. they are on ebay all the time.

if you can pay for shipping I will give you my fye chrome diamond plate step bumper that is actually made for the 86 MJ longbed and it already has brackets.

 

it's like 2 years old, just sitting around
