  1. Picked up a Swb 4cyl,5spd,4x4 last week to build into a crawler now that my 88lwb is done and driving nice! tentative plans are as fallows: Keep stock drive line except axles those will be a G2 44 that I will pull from my other MJ as it just does street and gravel road stuff, rear axle will be an Isuzu rodeo 44( these axles use same larger 9” ring gear at the jk rubicon’s and a pinion that rivals a d60! Will also be doing a 231/231 doubler and goal tire size is 37-40’s! will be doing 2x6 rockers full interior cage tied to bed cage and bobbing the bed I’m thinking 8”
  2. Hey guys and girls, i was wondering if anyone had ever run into an issue for mocking a short bed truck bed to a long bed frame? I have the bed on the frame by cutting the spare tire carrier out, but only got the front bolts to mock up. I understand i'm going to have to bobbed the bed, but i am lost at making it further than i have gotten. If anyone has any ideas it be great. Trying to keep the original classic look before going to spend money on a custom truck bed. thanks
  3. So looking to do something this spring with the back of the MJ. Want to shorten it. Either lose the bed altogether or to keep it, use it, make it work or just go full on tube and link it and go full nine yard truggy. So question to you are what are some ideas that would be beneficial to my build for the tight terrian with rocks and loose dirt make up most of my wheeling, but still make it a capable cross crountry camping friendly rig for them summer trips, all the mean while still driven to and from the trail, UA style. Looking for pics, advice and links of all related to bedsides fab jobs. For those also looking for ideas and that not only want to but may have a rusty bed side, that with some creative ideas could be sulage and still used and look good.
