  1. Are you checking for power while cranking or just w/ the key on?
  2. Nice. I'm doing an almost identical project. .250 wall tubing? Do you need to/Are you going to add bracing to the unibody and crossmember connection? Good luck.
  3. Be careful when using a thin cutoff wheel on an angle grinder and cutting curves in the metal. The discs will break and become flying wheels of destruction. But it does work well and won't heat the metal too much if done right.
  4. I just swapped axles out of a cherokee into my MJ. The 30 was a bolt in. The 8.8 that was out of the XJ had to have the spring perches moved. If you don't weld it doesn't cos tmuch to have it done. Mine has 5-6" of lift upfront and SO rear and seems to be level so far (haven't had it out yet).
  5. I bet you can see where the track bar bolt at the axle end has been shifting around under stress. It can be a tough one to keep tight. I've had luck w/ grade 8's and red loctite.
  6. I'll check out that part number. I thought I remember hearing it was a CJ bushing that worked, just wasn't sure. Thanks again guys.:cheers:
  7. AX-15 bearing won't fit. Peugot equipped 4.0's have different pilot bearing dimensios.
  8. What pilot bearing do I need to use when going to an AX-15 from Peugot? Thanks in advance. ('89)
