  1. Sorry about that, your OP wasnt very clear.
  2. Today I removed the bedliner and found nothing but a little surface rust! Then I went into the D/S Floors, they are bad but Ive sen worse! this is how they were when I got it, they tried to fix it. (did an awful job) Then after I cut out the bad on D/S Thats all I did so far, tomorrow ill clean it up a bit and start putting metal in.
  3. Project Sargent Slaughter is the build of my First MJ I wasnt looking for another jeep at the moment but a buddy of mine called and mentioned he saw one sitting outside of a house and it looked a bit dusty like it had been sitting awhile. I didnt think much of it the rest of the day until I got off of work. Then when me and the wife were leaving for dinner, I said hey lets go take a look at it just as a piece of mind. We pulled up, I thought it looked a little rough but after looking at it a bit I realized it was just minor stuff. The guy had 1000$ on the sign in the window, which I said that I honestly couldnt pay what he was asking, he was interested in my offer. I told him I could do 600$ And he accepted. So I went to dinner, stopped at home grabbed some cash and went and got it. I am thankful I listen to my stomach and went to look at it. I couldnt imagine someone else buying it. :) So I got it home, Decided to wash it off and get the filth off of it from sitting for almost 3 years. It looked a lot better then it did when I picked it up! I then decided to remove the front flares, start the work on the body. I got the d/s fender done, and about half the front end sanded down.
  4. Or same height just wider, 245/75r15 They are 29 x 9.65 x 15
  5. Ahh, ok 235/75r15 is 29 x 9.25 x 15 Pretty popular size also.
  6. Removed bedliner for first time, everything was solid! Then Seen my battery was leaking, so I got a new one. Then I cut the bad spots out of the floor on the D/S :wrench:
  7. I had bfg AT's I loved them, and they lasted forever.
  8. That sure would make it easy lol, ill look into it. Although it wouldnt look as nice, I do have some metal just looking for a home. :dunno: But I also found out we have a grad party to go to for the wifes cousin. So I won't be able to make it. :(
  9. It has no seats in it, I'm also fixing floors. I should be starting them tomorrow morning so just maybe I can get them in and plate it by then. Ill see what I can do, but I wouldnt count on it. XJ for sure if not!
  10. I'm not sure how much you want to get into it, but on my XJ it was pretty rusted and with out cutting and swapping window frames there wasnt much I could do other then.. Remove windshield molding Clean out debris Dry all moister Prep if you can (I sanded what I could and got a lot of the loose paint/metal out) Then apply black rtv generously and smooth with finger Allow to dry (or don't I didnt) Then reinstall molding I also rtv'd around the molding and then painted a couple inches around window because mine was bad and didnt want it to leak again from me flexing it. It has almost been a year and I have had no issues!
  11. I can try as long as I have no jobs to do. And I won't be able to bring the Comanche :(
  12. Thanks! I'm pretty sure it was your thread that had the od green Comanche in it, but that's what I'm going for with my build. Do you have any other info on it?
