http://pic60.picturetrail.com/VOL1664/7555959/14323910/216343924.jpg the bumper is made of 2X4 3/16 wall mild steel and has a 2in recever on it . i originally made D shackle mounts outa some round stock but realized they were very ugly After i welded them on . so i cut those off and welded a set of trailer shackles on and put in a couple of 2in popin back up lights , the bumper is atached via some 2in angle and some flat bar . whata think

I got the rubicon d44 for my mj (bare housing) and i have the superior cromos , mile marker hub conversion for it and gona run 4.88 to mach the rear. I am however gona build a custom axeltrus to suport it from C to C and it shoul d be as strong as a stock d44.cost wise it is going to run about 1300$ but i got the housing for free and i know some people that are in the diff biz which helps a bit. all said and done it will be a verry good combo.

the brakes suck ever since I put on the biger lift and 33s , which conserns me cus i lifted it high enuf to run36s and then 38s but if it won't stop wit 33 how will it ever stop with 36s or even 38s. I'm considering hydroboost or even a larger master cyl. I all ready know bout slotted and vented roters etc... but i highly doubt that would fixit???????

YA its the xj kit , the install went realy well with only a few hang ups. like the measure ments for arm lengths wernt right caus ther fer an xj, some holes didnt line up perfect but thats to be expeceted. i realy like the design of the arms (rember u get what u pay for) and the whole kit ,simple and to the point.

hear it is my mj , Its an 1986 lwb with the 2.8V6 ( yaya i know, but i love it) . Its got a 4inch add a leaf in the back with a soa (still needs shocks) swaped in trused44 outta an XJ ,6in skyjacker springs and acos cranked up a bit to make bot 9inches. with rusty's long arm kit. warn 9.5 ti on a custom front bumper. i also sourced the front superior d44 outa the project teal j in the fourwheel mag for free, i have superior cromos for it along with mile marker front hub conversion kit .

ya the rubicon 44 isnt much more than a glorafied d30 with the exception of the center section which still uses all d44 inerds. but thats why u get it, for the ability to run a gear larger than a 4.88 which is all u can run in ur typical d30 .

Just wanted to say hey yal, I've been observin' the club fer a while and finaly joined. I own an 86 manche with bout 9 inches o' lift on 33x12.5 tsl and a bunch of other junk on it. I'll try and post more later, in detail.
