    2.5 renix ECM

AS the title states. Thats what I'm looking for. must be willing to pull the cover off and show me the common fried diode is still good. Thanks.
  13. Just to update. I pulled my ECM out this morning. it is fried, and someone has already tried to fix it the same way it was done in this thread. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/how-repair-your-ecu-591031/ But it looks like they didn't replace the diode. or it fried again. either way, I'm hoping to just replace the ECM and have it going.
  14. Nice rig. I read your build thread, was that MPI coming along?
  15. Since we do not have a pic section, I figured this was better put in the tech section because there will be a little bit of tech involved. I have an idea of what I want my comanche to look like, but its hard finding anything that is neither restored, or full on built. I will probably stay in the 31-33 inch tire size, mainly because I'm running a 2.5 and has no desire to up grade. I do however have a brand new set of 37's... I want to see pics of woods friendly truck's running these size tires (up to 37's) and know what lift and axel combinations your running. If your running a 2.5 you get bonus points, that are absolutly good for nothing. Thanks in advance. and if this needs to be moved to a place more suiting, have at it.
  16. We need a pic section for trial rides and poser shots....
  17. I just read a write up on a different forum, same issue, turned out to be the ECM, but the guy took the time to disasssemble it and find the problem in it. was a diode, that he successfully replaced. I am going to pull mine out tomorrow and check it. I won't be able to fix it my self, it will show me if thats what I need next. any recomendations on where to get one if needed?
  18. HA, and it has a brand new computer in it.
  19. it is possible that I have gained injector pulse, but still no spark.. wich of the 4 wires going to the coil should have power when the emgine is turning over?
  20. I do infact have a test light. currently looking for a downloadable service manual. I can check anything, but not knowing wichcircuits go where makes it useless.
  21. welp. It's obviously not my CPS. new one installed with drilling the top hole out. tests good, still no spark and no fuel pulse.... it has brand new injector, cap, rotor button, wires, plugs... so give me a new avenue to check.
  22. I picked the CPS today. Not had the chance to put it in, but I will tomorrow.. I searched to find mine with the 2.5, just wish it was already 4x4.
  23. so, to clarify. I should drill the whole in the mounting tabs, to 3/8s, and the CPS as close to the flywheel as I can. This has been done and I don't have to worry about it going to far, and hitting the flywheel.
