  1. If anyone is still paying attention to this thread, please check this out... I've been restoring my 90 lwb for the past two years in hopes for a daily driver that does double duty as my offroad/plow rig in the northeast. So far I have replaced the floors(completely!, driver's to passenger's rocker, inside; including the tranny hump[re-constructed the non - existent uniframe rails at the same time; doubled up ALL the uniframe thickness & mounts!] swapped out the disconnect 3.07 front for a 4.89 non-disco Dana with a true-trac & upgraded EVERY steering component; replaced the rear 35 with a 9" Detroit 4.89w/disc, Upgraded to a dual booster, and swapped to an external slave ax15)...my money-pit also received a 5.5" SOA lift w/33's, 97 doors, pwr/htd mirrors heated pwr/htd leather seats, upgraded EVERYTHING inside....etc, etc, etc.... During the "early days" of this project, I scored a "parts" '90 LWB MJ Metric Ton with a plow... took what I needed & then sold off to another Jeep-nut;) What I really have a ? about, is the Fisher plow... I would really like to convert it to a different setup, something other than the cable controls it currently has... any & all help would be appreciated beyond belief!

Is that assembly in Maine still available? Interested club member here...
  3. The parts I was refering to, were the seat brackets & comanche buckets I'd previously mentioned a couple months back. Sorry for any confusion.
  4. FINALLY got some time to check back on this forum... I'll be posting some pics up if I can figure it out this weekend; either way, I'm still sitting on some "subjectively mint" parts that I need to sell. (781)414-9234... text ONLY please. I'll be around this upcoming weekend.
  5. Shackles still attached :-)
  6. Still looking? Contact me this upcoming weekend... I have the stock leafs off my 90' sitting in the bed. I scored one of the last sets of "Hell's Creek" metrics.... I'm about 30 mins north, near 95/27. $50 & they're yours :-)
  7. That sir, is a thing of beauty! Sorry to hear of all your delays and other BS. I have been patiently waiting in the wings; looking forward to any/all updates with your project... Cheers to you :-)
  8. I also have MINT Comanche buckets in that awesome maroon/red/checkerboard color if anyone`s lookin`... I`ll be offline after tomorrow pm until the 26th;but if interested let me know. I`ll be posting `em up after the trip.
  9. What do you guys think they are worth? I have a set that I bought on e-bay; super-clean. Ended up replacing my floors & going to Cherokee buckets & mounts... I`ll be looking to unload some extra parts once I get back from my T-Day vacation at the end of the month....gotta pay for my new ARB fridge somehow; or the wife`s gonna kill me ;)
  10. Thanks for the good words....I'll hook up a "real" tach tomorrow and let y'all know. I just didn't want to screw with it too much in case it was perfectly setup for a 4. I plan to start posting a build soon; just about done with my "Spotweld-Nightmare"! Replacing the entire floor & upgrading every single suspension/steering componebt has been quite fun..lol...Not even close to my CJ or XJ hours yet; BUT, still got plenty to go:-) Thanks again, Mike
  11. Hello everyone, I've owned my Comanche for roughly 6 months & have found this forum to be a great resource. Just wondering if anyone has replaced the "idiot-light" cluster with an actual gauge cluster; only to find the tach is way off? I've got a 4.0 & installed a "unknown" cluster... at idle the truck is reading MAYBE 0-100?? Rpm. It's working properly, adjusts with engine speed; but is reading rather low. I dissassmbled the cluster and found the adjustment screw, but can't find if I'll need to replace the resistor if in fact my cluster came from a 4-banger?? Will adjusting the potentiometer screw correct my issue? Or should i look to replace the resistor/get another tach? Thanks in advance for any and all help.
