thanks i found 86 mj 4x4 that has been a roll over it is a 2.8 stright drive would this be a better swap then the xj

would it be better to get a newer xj to start with or would u even keep the 4 banger what do ya think my 4 banger runs good is the Selec-Trac a good choice

I got a 86 mj 2.5 auto 2wd I found a 84 2 door xj 2.5 auto with Selec-Trac 4wd both is 2.5 both is auto so i can keep my auto on the colume is this a good donner i would use my motor and the xj tranny and use both axel out of the xj

Got a 86 2.5 auto 2wd when i bought it it ran ok then it went down hill. around town it do ok and not boog down a lot hit the freeway. and at 70 mph it start booging bad. and useing twice the fuel. I replace the fuel filter and it help it a lot. getting a lot better gas milge. then i notice it shakin bad so i replace the plugs wires cap roto button and coil. that help it great. now it still shakin a little at 60 plus mph and every now and then. It acts like it is either loosing gas or fire for about 5 seconds and then picking right back up i bought both ujoints i am going to install by friday hopeing that will get the rest of the shake out of it. sorry i can't spell good thanks tony

any body ever cut the frame behind the cabs

in my county i got lot of ppl that inspection and they never look at the truck so the dash is all got the vin plates

Long wheel bed to short bed has it ever been done. I got a 1986 long bed. I found a 1990 short bed with no title can i swicth the cab or cut the frame or what can be done thanks

it was bougt new and the family sold it to the first buyer with out the title and now its been sold 2 more times i think it got a lean on it i want it for parts i got a 86 mj with a title

i got a 1976 GMC 2wd swb it runs good and drive good. I got a guy that got a 1990 xj with 160 k miles and a 1990 mj with a 150k miles the mj don't have a title its a 1990 4.0 5 speed 2wd short bed the xj has a very clean inside 4.0 auto 4x4 he says its a one owner he got it 3 years ago and has been great. if both runs good would u trade

I bought a 86 comanche 2.5 auto. i went and looked at a year unknow comanche 4x4 2.8 5 speed. Its been turn over i going to buy it. what will be the best way to change my over to the 5 speed and 4x4. I would like to keep my 2.5 or go to a 4.0 any help would be gratfull thanks i like this site
