Where can I find a good front skid plate for my comanche with a 3" lift? Any help would be appreciated,thanks.

I want to go up to some 33" baja claws, but the 31's seem to do O.K. I really like the 350 in there though. It's out of an old van so it is cammed decently and is nice and torquey. Cooling is still a bit of an issue but I was given a radiator out of an 67' mustang with a 289 so I am gonna measure it up and see what I get.

I have all my pics on cardomain right now. They are under possum333 in the Comanche section if you wanna take a look. She's kind of mild right now but does real good on the trails. I have a chevy 350 mated to a TH350 longtail, custom driveshaft into a mopar 8 3/4 rear with 3:91 gears out of a 1970 Charger and a mini spool. As for lift it is just a Skyjacker 3" with some 31" BFGs on the terra firma. Just 2wd for now but I will be fabbing a chain-drive 4wd system with coil-overs. :chillin: :cheers:

the 1966 through 1971 8 3/4 mopar rear ends work pretty well in these trucks. I am currently running an 8 3/4 out of a 1966 Dodge D100 1/2 ton I added an Auburn mini spool and 3:91 gears out of a 70 charger. A little bit of everything in true AMC fashion.

My comanche has a chevy 350 in it and I am currently using the stock radiator, a 195 thermostat, and a bottle of purple ice. Unless it is 100 degrees out she runs right at 190. But I am looking at a BeCool radiator for a 1990 wrangler since they are the same shape and size. Just for added protection.
