I bet that's the only long bed mj w/ those wheels . What size tires are those?

ok for a minute I thought you were saying that the article said newer xj seals would not work ...I heard that it was an upgrade on madjx or somewhere , now I see you were just confirming that. It figures to me , my 96 xj is loud as heck w/wind blowing in the door jam , much louder than my 00 xj .As I am restoring the MJ i was really hoping I can use the newer seals. What's the difference between "new " seals you read about and 98 seals?

I have a the 00 front of my xj on my 88 and the wiring was not an issue. the front indicaotrs went in like stock and the side ones fit in the holes but would not lock. I just used a little ele tape . if that's too low tech for you i guess you can splice in 97+ ends on th side turns.

I just got the same clark welder .I haven't used it much yet. Glad that you like yours ofter a year . Have any pics of the bumpers you made?

You said you're going w the 97+ front right? yeah white would look good w/ black grille and bezels . With white you won't have to jam the doors and engine bay .

SWEET! Looks like there will be a few lowered MJ's in the next year . Mine's a 88 eliminator w 17 in moabs , I hadn't really figures out how I was going to lower the front . I heard the same thing about oil pan clearance if ou can would you take a pic of the front axle and a couple more of the stance would be great. The donor is awesome , too bad the doors don't fit . Agreed , great to see more real restoration of the mj for daily driving , not just the trail . hopefully mine will come along as well as yours . -Andy

I'll be pulling the renix from my 88 mj and want to know what /if anything I can do to "moth ball it in case I want to build it up or sell it later . I've never pulled a motor then just let it sit for a while. -Andy

what size lift and tire is that in the picture? 4.5"??? I'm lifting my xj and I still havent decided if 3.5" lift is enough

Cool Grille mod. I'm not the biggest fan of the waggy fronts,(they look kinda old to me)but it is a custom look most people would not recognize. I'm hacking my old Mj grille for somthing similar(4 lights) but I have some molding and and glass work to do before it's done. What Ru doing for a bumper ? after the new grille a bumper cover is next. Good luck with this project I'll have to come see it sometime. there arent too many of us lowering mj's especially less than 20 min away. -Andy

Is the cab attached to the frame yet? or is just sitting on the ground . Take some pics of that 4 link... or I guess I could see it in person since you're just in Newnan. I wonder how there's so many So. Atl guys in this forum? -Andy
