  1. hell yea the eliminator is super sick and clean
  2. been a sec but the jeep been at a trans shop tying to find a noise, turns out that the input bearing in the transfer case is destroyed but with that we also found where a leak was coming from. so basically when your swap a 231 in place of a 249 on a 46rh your need the swap input shafts to engage the seal which Neohic did when he swapped them. I think somewhere down the line of different owners someone swapped the transfer case and instead of swapping input shafts they made a spacer to engage the seal with in return leaks though the splines. but now that everything if figured out i got the jeep back in the garage and the transfer case is getting fixed. now the next step is getting the rear 44 in. and I've been getting side tracked with painting diff covers

  9. after lots of writing and a competition I managed to secure a scholarship and get to keep the Comanche. My dad also surprised me with some new built dana 44s for it. Anyways everything that has been done to it so far. New dash, new radiator shroud with electric fan. Moto built a fuel cell in bed and it does work with grand Cherokee fuel pumps. That's all I got for now.

  12. Alrighty things will be happening soon I ordered a Zj tank to replace the current tank with and fuel pump still be a bit before the trans come out. I still haven’t take Any pics but I have one. I’m hoping by November I’ll have the low ish fuel pressure and the cooling issues all sorted out to I can put my focus into some body work.(floor pan are rusted again it seems)
  13. i did go that way this morning sadly didn't get on the trail today had some heat issues and might've lost a "little" coolant. do you remember seeing a white jk in front of me? i think that was the last trail run my dad has planned before winter too so i guess i gotta see how many things i can fix before spring. i also keep forgetting pictures ill try to remember to get a few tomorrow when i finally get a chance to get it in the shop.
  14. yea ill have to pull it out of the tank later when i pull the trans and transfer case sometime in October because a seal or something is leaking somewhere. and the trans has found made its self a crack in the bottom of the bell housing that I'm gonna get welded by a buddy. in the end I'm really just trying to find out what to buy to replace the pump i don't really want to pay more for the whole sending unit but well see. I do believe a junk yard near me has a zj tank that i might look into to see if its punctured and possible to replace to original mj tank with the zj one anyway this weekend I'm hoping to run Handcock pass and a few other trails with my dad so ill have some pictures of it on the trails later this week. i also ended up buying a new dash ill get a picture when i get home but i cut a bunch of bits up and made a OEM bezel fit around the ZJ cluster.
  15. Hello I'm the new owner of this Comanche (not sure if I'm the 3rd or fourth owner or who knows) and i pretty sure the fuel pump is already going out on me and I'm not sure what's going on with the custom pump work. i would like to know how its set up if anyone remembers before i take it out and or i go and buy a new assembly or just a replacement pump. if i can get an answer for this i have some pictures and I'm willing to share more progress as i continue to take care of this Comanche.
