  1. I like that blue color I think I'll consider it for my truck too
  2. It is an amazing build, really clean. I'll love to get somewhere near that with my MJ and will look forward to that, it is a pretty good motivation.
  3. I have the 4.0L
  4. Thank you, i will follow that post to upgrade my system.
  5. Hi everyone, my jeep has almost all the windshield washing system missing the one that sprays cleaningn liquid over the windshield, so i was wondering if it is easier to adapt the system from a more recent XJ like a 98 or 99, cuz i think it will be easier to find, and in better conditions. Has anyone done this before? Thank you, regards
  6. Love the prerunner type build, I get a lot of fun driving my stock comanche I bet you get a lot more of fun haha. Really nice work congratulations.
  7. Well this is my 1990 Comanche, my dad bought it about 15 years ago for 500 dlls cuz it didn't had the transmission, we got the manual transmission and then a cousin gave it some body work. After that my dad used it for work and it received some hits cuz it was some rough work at a metals recycling plant, we got some big tires for it and a put a pair of increments between the suspension springs. The driver window got stuck and my dad broke the window trying to pull it up, so we changed the whole door for a white one. After dad we had a little crash nothing big, but the front bumper and part of the grill was damaged. As well once I left it parked, and a public bus crashed on it and the rear bumper was damaged and I got a new one but no the original one. So, when my dad died, I kept it, it was my daily use for college and work so i didn't have much money and wasn't able to repair the body, so i just did some mechanical fixes to keep it running, now I'm working as an engineer and have a little more of budget and I'll start to restore it, it definitely has had better day but I´m going to make it look great again, I moved from 33" to 32" and made some repairs to the brake system, got an 2000 XJ front to do the conversion, somehow found the tail lights on fb market place and already took it to my cousin to another body work and paint. And that's it, I´ll update this when the bodywork and paint is done, then I´ll get it a new stereo and start working a bit more on the interior that has a lot of work to do too.
  8. Hey there everyone apparently it got solved, thanks to everyone, apparently it was some of the booster actuator rod adjustments and some brake front line bleeding to get rid of some dirt and other stuff that was in the line. Againg thanks to evryone, ill still look out for some calippers change.
  9. Hey there everyone, I've been having a brakes issue with my truck, at first it didn't stop like i had to use a lot of strength on the pedal to feel a bit of brake work and whenever I start it up it works fine, but as I am driving it, it doesn't take much to feel this problem, I feel like the truck gets heavy and it takes a bit to start moving when I'm releasing the clutch. So first I changed the booster, which fixed the issue of the truck not braking now it breaks a lot better, but the truck still feels like getting heavy. I decided to check the drum brakes at the back changed the little cylinders and cleaned the mechanism, also changed the brake main cylinder for a new one but still felt the same issue. After those changes, I lifted the truck and noticed that after some driving the front wheel are stuck the don't spin nothing, tried to make them spin with my arms but I wasn't able to do it. So now I know the front wheels of brakes are getting stuck after some use, has someone got any issue like this? I am thinking that maybe the brake proportioning valve is not working well but haven't found any. If someone has any idea of what could be happening or know where to get a new proportioning valve would thank you a lot. BTW it is a 1990 comanche 4.0 with no 4x4. Ill look forward to post some photos on the projects in this next weeks.
