  2. i am replacing the instrument cluster on a 1990 Comanche 4.0 and when i finally got the connector off on the back of the cluster i see the plug will plug in both ways and like a fool i did not pay attention when i pulled it any help on which way it goes? please help!

  4. Havent taken it out yet can you remove the tach "face" from the front or do i need to remove the cluster from the dash?
  5. I figured it out (thanks to all of you) it was the vacuum line going to the ball Now what can i do for the tach that does not work? Please tell me where to look!
  6. And if it is good? How do i test the vacuum lines at the control panel?

  8. that line appears okay but i will replace it if you think that is a possibility how do you check the ones at the control it is so tight i can hardly get it to pull out?

  11. i have a 1990 Comanche 4.0 with factory air and the only place the air will come out is the defroster. I have replaced just about all the vacuum lines with the exception of the control unit and the lines going into the control unit Does anyone have any suggestions? I am still searching for answers as to why my tach does not work also
  12. also engine is original and the truck has not been molested in any way
  13. Point well taken and thank you 1990 comanche 2wd standard cab i have looked all over for a cluster and no luck i can't find any literature on the wiring except the green wire that i chased under the hood and it seems fine everything works perfect except the tach
  14. How can i find a 6 gauge instrument cluster? everything works with the exception of the tach I travel a lot if anyone can help could you please call me name is Terry!
