1990 MJ My passenger floor is wet and thoughts as to why?

The only thing i found is when i grab the steering shaft i can move it a little so i bought one and have not replaced it yet could that be it? When i put the brakes on it i packed the wheel bearings good but now that i think of it the right outer bearing didnt seem as tight as the others that being said why only at that speed would it do that?

I have now replaced the harmonic balancer and from 45 to 55 mph it is vibrating still i have balanced wheels 2 times new tires. The suspension parts are all tight Its a 1990 MJ 2wd i replaced the rear u joint and the one in the front going into the back of the transmission seems fine. I am about to give up does anyone have any suggestions? At lower speeds up to 45 mph it is fine and 55 mph and above its fine Could the front u joint be bad even though it seems fine? I have also replaced the clutch and flywheel and brakes all the way around. PLEASE HELP IF POSSIBLE

it does not someone told me to grind the cable going into the cluster which i did and it was perfect until it warmed up then it started bouncing so they said to grind it some more because when it gets hot it swells up any thoughts?

I finally got my speedometer by grinding the cluster end shorter it was as close to perfect as I needed until it warmed up now it bounces again I assume I have to grind it shorter? If so how do I know how much without risking breaking that plastic clip? This is my 3rd cable and I’d rather not buy any more thank you in advance

I have a new lock ring and o ring for my 90 MJ is it as easy as switching it out? I am afraid that no matter how careful I am that my fuel gauge won’t work correctly when I’m done do you have any thoughts please

What is a gauge sweep

Do you think I should just replace the whole sending unit? My concern is my luck my fuel gauge will not read correctly when done
