  1. Its 5 speed to 5 speed. Guess its not a direct bolt in?
  2. I think my trans synchro's are shot. The clutch is shot as is my slave. Was curious to know if my trans out of my parts cherokee would work. My Comanche is an 87 4.0 and my parts truck is a 96 4.0 HO. I know ppl say take the bell housing and external slave but didn't know if i could just swap out trans completely. Thanks y'all.
  3. Maybe i been missing something. I been changing tires/wheels since i was probably 12 years old. I'm 42 now. Maybe its a jeep thing but to have that little bit of bite ain't right. Id almost put money on if i was to torque those to 100 lbft id pull the threads out. I worked on quite a few fords n chevys in my day and never had lugs nuts catch so little threads. I been wrong b4 tho...
  4. I found some studs from another forum. They're 3" I'm thinking for a 3" stud there's some axle pulling to get em installed. Or i can cut them down to length i need. I'm gonna get my wheels prepped, painted, and tires mounted. Thanks for the advice every1.
  5. Thanks for the advice. I never think of other model jeeps like liberty or commander. I'm so tunnel visioned on mj/xj or grand cherokee. Thanks again.
  6. 1.39" of thread still doesn't sound like enough. You're running aluminum wheels? Thanks.

  9. I know for xj's there's like 3 different lengths of studs but dude at counter , well ya know how that goes
  10. Even my open ends are 60°
  11. Any1 have the part number for longer wheel studs so i can feel safe running my new canyons. It has aluminum wheels on it now n i have heart attack everyday. This is what i have now. Same result when i test fit my canyons. The closed ends still only catch about the same amount. The button pushers at advance auto can't help. I know you guys can. Thanks.
  12. It doesn't matter this is the 2nd set of wheels I've tried n i don't have enough lug sticking through. I don't wanna change all the studs. The back is simple but i heard front is a pain. I'm just gonna chalk it up as a loss n order an 8 inch steel set. Maybe I'm just an idiot idk.
  13. Seems like forever but i finally got some wheels. Any suggestions on a decent 31x10.5 15? Was looking at a good year from Walmart $160 a piece.
  14. Nevermind saw your profile like 3000 miles away lol
  15. Where you located?
  16. You got parts? Wheels, tires, anything? Where are you in jersey?
  17. 4 off parkway. Send me pics of what ya got n prices. Maybe i can make something happen
  18. I'm in jersey
  19. Looking for pics of 31x10.5s on 10" whells
  20. Thanks for the advice. Ill shoot a pic of what i got going on now n why i been in such a panic trying to get wheels and tires.
  21. Guy says they're 8"wide. I like them and i saw a set with 31s on them but i missed the purchase. This guy has a set of 5 (wheels only) its what i want so i can build a spare rack in front end of bed. He wants $100 bucks is that a good deal?
  22. Anyone here have a 31x10.5 on a 10" wheel? I got the weels from my parts truck. The wheels on my Comanche aren't right, they're aluminum and the lugs don't catch many threads. My 10" wides have beat up 33x12.5s on em n i can't do my lift yet. My only other option is i can grab a set of factory 'canyon' wheels off a local guy. But if the 31x10.5 will work ill run my free wheels. Then jump to a 33 once my lift is in. Thanks y'all
  23. Man i need 1 of everything and 2 of some things. Id love to have a new long bed and i need a tailgate but I'm in extreme south jersey.....
