So i woke up this morning with my other 1/2 telling me there's car parts all over out front!! I'm like huh? So i open my door n found this....

Well ole joe dirt sounds like he's losing a rod bearing..... sounds like i got a small tick, slap, knock coming from oil pan area. Can only hear it when I'm parked in garage or somewhere where i have an echo. Anyway, i have a 96 h.o motor, ax-15 setup minus harness. My question is, can i swap everything out an make it run on renix computer so i don't have to swap entire harness? Would also like to freshen it up b4 the swap if swap is possible. Who makes the best rebuild kit? Is a stroker worth it? I can't afford a stroker long block also have a huge shortage (0) of machine shops around here. Any input would be appreciated.

I could still use 1. I also have a new issue with my rig. I got it started and idling below 11-1200 after i fixed a split vacuum line. Now during warm up when she goes to idle down it strarts getting rough and occasionally stalls. Any input? How much for box? I'm in jersey 08242.

I found and repaired some vacuum leaks idle is fine. I'm having an intermittent starting issue now. Smh, it cranks n cranks with no joy then ill crank n it fires right up.

Was fixing a vacuum leak on my rig noticed my air filter box was cracked and missing a chunk. 87 4.0 renix. I'm in Jersey. Plz lmk if any1 can help me out. Thanks.

I haven't messed with it yet. Just figured id ask here 1st. I have my father-in-law funeral today so tomorrow ill add pics. The wiring is a nightmare under my hood.

So the other day i started joe dirt n it cranked n cranked then blew a puff of smoke out my snorkel. I tried again n it ran a lil rough. Next day i went out n cranked it n fired right up but its idling around a grand. As it got hotter it starts idling higher around 11-1200. Any ideas? Another thing i noticed was the plug all the way to the right on my icm has no plug in it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I hear that buddy. I'm trying to get a couple things done to my rig within the next 2 weeks. Mainly finishing that back bumper I've been playing with forever now. We have a Jeep invasion coming like the 12th or 14th of july down here in Wildwood NJ. 1 of the only times ya get to drive on the beach during the season. This is the 1st year i been into Jeeps. When i found my Comanche i caught the bug, lol. I can't wait to see how many or how few Comanches show up. Nice chatting buddy. I'm sure ill be in your mailbox when i do this trans swap. Thanks

Just for rotation purposes unless i just go front to rear. I know when i owned my big rig, that's the only way you did a rotation cause the steel belts get pulled 1 direction so it was bad to flip em to the other side.

Its exactly the look i was going for. They're surprisingly quiet for the tread. Its only been a week but I'm extremely happy with the combo. Now i just need to get my transmission sorted and i can move on to rust ....

To be honest i have no clue what the bumper is. It was on my xj parts truck. I'm using the rear 1 as well just gotta finish welding some filler plates and I'm frenching in my tag. If i wasn't so lazy it be done.

After all this time and bs i finally got my wheels and tires done. I had posts about studs and lugs not working but got everything sorted out. With the proper lug nuts absolutely 0 problem and catching plenty of threads. I felt so dumb..... So this is the outcome. Jeep canyons with R.B.P Repulser 31x10.5's

Is there a tilt wheel conversion out there? Idk if it was ever a factory option. I'm 6'3" 200lbs. So y'all get it lol

My clutch is wiped n have a chirp from bearing or slave. My truck doesn't like 3rd gear or downshifting especially from 4th to 3rd. I planned on doing everything including rear main seal while is apart. I'm actually gonna farm the job out cause i don't wanna do it all on my back in my driveway. Ill drop the 1 out of my 96 cause its lifted n have room. Ill take everything i have to trans shop and see what they can do. At very least i shold use the bell housing, right? Then i get external slave, correct? Is the 15 better than the 10 for any other reasons? Thanks again.
